Building on the momentum of their No. 2-charting album ‘Reflections’, Blue are back with their latest single ‘Flowers’.
The ‘All Rise’ hitmakers have enlisted none other than former Take That singer-turned-solo superstar Robbie Williams to pen the track, which premiered on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show this week and will be released Friday (April 10).
Antony Costa – who stars in the group with Simon Webbe, Duncan James and Lee Ryan – said of the track: “Having an icon like Robbie write a track for Blue was an honour.
“Robbie reached out to me a while back and said, ‘I’ve got a song for Blue’. We only got to record it recently and thought it would be perfect to release for our 25th anniversary tour.
“It’s already sounding amazing in rehearsals with the live band – we can’t wait for you all to hear ‘Flowers’,” he added (via The Sun’s Bizarre column).
The ‘One Love’ group is already on tour, with shows planned across the UK throughout April, with additional dates across the country and throughout Europe in the summer.
