Five years after returning to the Top 10 of the UK charts for the first time in over a decade with ‘Firebird‘, Natalie Imbruglia has shared details of her seventh studio album, due later this year.
In a post on social media, the ‘Torn’ hitmaker teased the news, sharing a graphic featuring the title and writing in the caption: “ALGORITHM = NEW ALBUM 2026.”
Fans will no doubt be expecting the new record to feature ‘Habit’, a song first debuted live by Imbruglia back in 2023 that has remained a staple of her live sets until now.
While details of the album remain under wraps, chart-topping ‘Fame Academy’ winner-turned-songwriter David Sneddon – who has written recent hits for Louis Tomlinson and Craig David – revealed his involvement in a comment on the ‘Smoke’ singer’s Instagram post, simply saying: “what a joy it was.”
Imbruglia replied: “you are my four leaf clover!! Thanks for bringing the magic and your musical talent!!!”
The Aussie star previously revealed she had recorded “about 13 new songs” for the album.
