Returning to the stage for the first time in almost three years, Harry Styles opened the BRIT Awards 2026 with the live debut of his latest chart-topping single ‘Aperture’.
Serving as the opening to the show, it began with host Jack Whitehall in a barbershop learning that the former One Direction star would be taking a break from music in 2023, leading to a montage of him pining after the singer, before finally making it to the ceremony in time for his comeback performance.
It saw the ‘As It Was’ singer flanked by dozens of dancers wearing black shades and T-shirts with snails on them, and Styles himself dressed in high-waisted dress pants and a shirt with a tie.
During the highly-choreographed routine, he was joined a backing band and the House Gospel Choir, before all united to close out the slick performance.
Styles will return to Manchester’s Co-Op Live on Friday (March 6) to launch his new album ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally‘ with an exclusive concert that will be available to stream on Netflix from Sunday (March 8) at 7pm GMT.
Later this summer, the ‘Golden’ singer will hit the road for his global ‘Together, Together’ tour, which includes a record-breaking 12 nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, launching on June 12, with special guest Shania Twain.
Olivia Dean was the big winner at this year’s BRITs, with the chart-topping star taking home the prizes for Artist, Album and Song of the Year, along with Best Pop Act. Check out the full list of winners here.
