Five years after their planned reunion tour was scrapped, Pussycat Dolls are reportedly plotting a new string of gigs.
The group – fronted by Nicole Scherzinger and also starring Melody Thornton, Ashely Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar and Kimberly Wyatt – started out as a burlesque troupe before taking a detour into music in 2003.
They released two albums – ‘PCD’ (2005) and ‘Doll Domination’ (2008) – and scored hits such as Buttons, Don’t Cha, When I Grow Up, I Hate This Part and Hush Hush – before calling it quits in 2010.
After reuniting in 2019, the group – minus Melody – dropped a new single, React, and while tour plans were stalled amid the Covid-19 pandemic, before ultimately being axed, insiders say Pussycat Dolls are plotting another reunion.
“Kimberly has been open about the fact the girls have sorted out their issues,” a source told The Sun’s Bizarre column. “She also told pals they’ve been discussing a tour.
“The Pussycat Dolls certainly had their differences over the years, but a comeback would send fans wild.”
