The LP was conceived while the star was undergoing chemotherapy for her Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer diagnosis and showcased a change in tone from her debut ‘Innocent Eyes’ (2003).
Featuring the singles Out Of The Blue and Almost Here (with Brian McFadden), it went Top 30 in the UK and peaked at No. 1 in Australia, with Delta announcing two shows in celebration of the record.
Additionally, Delta will play concert in Sydney, Australia on April 14, 2025.
“‘Mistaken Identity’ was a challenge and a triumph… a mark left on me that I honour and treasure and am reminded of to this day,” she says of the LP. “Happy Anniversary to all those who keep the album close to your hearts and resonate with those songs in ways that blow me away.”
