‘The Girls Aloud Show’ concert movie is set to premiere on ITV on November 18.
The release of the film – which documents the 21st anniversary reunion tour from the Call The Shots hitmakers – falls on what would have been their late bandmate Sarah Harding’s 43rd birthday.
With 30 shows across the UK and Ireland, the tour saw Nadine Coyle, Cheryl, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh honour the singer with performances of their biggest hits, including Sound Of The Underground, Love Machine, Biology and The Promise.
It will air as a highlights package on ITV1, featuring behind the scenes footage, with the full extended arena show available to stream on ITVX.
“This show is a massive celebration of our journey over the last 22 years,” says Nicola. “It was a great chance for us to showcase our catalogue of music that we’re so proud of, and to celebrate and remind people of our incredible Sarah.”
“It was pure joy and nostalgia at every show. It was amazing to look out at the crowd every night, especially in the moments when we all remembered Sarah together,” adds Cheryl
Nadine says: “‘The Girls Aloud Show’ is a unique experience because there’s so much excitement and camaraderie in the room – we’re all in it together. Our fans got so creative with their costumes – they came as different eras of Girls Aloud.”
“It’s exciting to think that anyone who didn’t manage to see The Girls Aloud Show when we toured the UK is going to have this chance to share it with us now,” shares Kimberley.
