A synopsis for the tour reads: “From her noteworthy beginnings through childhood to meeting and marrying Sonny Bono, this exclusive event will trace the early life of this global megastar.”

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on October 11 and are available here. The full list of dates is below.

NOVEMBER 2024
20 – The Temple Emanu-El Streicker Cultural Center, New York
22 – Bergen Performing Arts Center, Englewood
25 – The Lyceum Theatre, London

DECEMBER 2024
2 – Saban Theatre, Beverly Hills
4 – Golden Gate Theatre, San Francisco

A blurb for the book – which follows the star’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – reads: “As a dyslexic child who dreamed of becoming famous, Cher was raised in often chaotic circumstances, surrounded by singers, actors and a mother who inspired her in spite of their difficult relationship.

“With her trademark honesty and humour, ‘Cher: The Memoir’ traces how this diamond in the rough succeeded with no plan and little confidence to become the trailblazing superstar the world has been unable to ignore for more than half a century.

“’Cher: The Memoir, Part One’ follows her extraordinary beginnings through childhood to meeting and marrying Sonny Bono – and reveals the highly complicated relationship that made them world-famous, but eventually drove them apart.”

‘Cher: The Memoir, Part One’ is available to pre-order from Amazon, Waterstones, WH Smith and other retailers.
