Kylie Minogue is working on new material with Padam Padam producer Lostboy.
The Aussie superstar returned to the Top 10 of the UK charts and earned a Grammy for the lead single from her latest album, ‘Tension‘, and she’s reunited with the hitmaker to try and capture that magic again.
“Padam was its own thing, it’s lived its own life,” he said (via The Sun’s Bizarre column). “The new stuff is so fun as well in its own way. I don’t know when it will be out.”
It comes after DJ Joel Corry recently revealed he’s also been working on music with Kylie and the pair have made a summer “banger”.
“I’ve just been in the studio with Kylie recently in LA – the Queen,” he said. “I’ve got some bangers on the way. They say that I defrost for summer and the freezer has opened!”
According to reports, the Aussie superstar is planning to release an expanded, deluxe edition of her latest LP, ‘Tension‘ – also featuring the singles Hold On To Now and the title song – while work is also underway on its follow-up.
“Kylie has made it clear to her team this is no time to slow down,” insiders tell The Sun’s Bizarre column. “Plans are already in motion for the next two albums, one of which will be a repackage of ‘Tension’ with additional songs.
“As for the direction of album 17 it’s early days — but a full-on dance album is in the works.
“The plan is to release the ‘Tension’ repackage towards the end of the year, with probably up to five new tracks.”
