Fans are convinced Oasis are set to reunite to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary.

The Britpop group last performed together in 2009 and played their final show in Paris, France, but after a cryptic video was shared to their official Instagram page hopes were raised for a comeback.

It appeared to show Sawmills Studio in Cornwall, where Oasis recorded tracks for their debut album, ‘Definitely Maybe’ (1994), which turns 30 on August 30.

“They’re back together?!” wrote one follower, while a second speculated, “It’s on”, and a third user predicted: “They’re getting back together to headline Glastonbury in 2025.

Meanwhile, others are convinced a reissue of their first album is on the way, insisting: ”Definitely maybe reissue, this would of blown if it was anything else. [sic].”

They later shared another clip on X, showing the group’s classic logo with audio of Liam Gallagher saying: “It’s called ‘Definitely Maybe’.”

Both were shared without a caption, leading to further speculation from users online.

Former frontman Liam and guitarist and chief songwriter Noel have been at loggerheads since a backstage bust-up at their final concert, with singer already embarking on a ‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th anniversary tour, beginning next month.

He said Noel turned down his offer to reunite with him on the jaunt, telling one fan: “He’s been asked and he’s refused.”

Liam will be joined by Oasis guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs for the arena run.
