Elbow are celebrating their fourth UK No. 1 album this week.
The band from Bury, Manchester return to the top of the charts with ‘Audio Vertigo’, having held on to the top spot since Monday’s midweek update.

Their 10th record overall, it follows ‘The Take Off And Landing Of Everything’ (2014), ‘Little Fictions’ (2017) and ‘Giants Of All Sizes’ (2019) in their UK chart-topping tally.
The group – starring Guy Garvey, Pete Turner and Craig and Mark Potter – said in a social media post: “A huge thank you to everyone who bought / streamed / downloaded ‘AUDIO VERTIGO’, which has entered the charts today at Number 1.
“This is now elbow’s 4th studio album to top the charts in the UK.”
Prior to its release, Garvey described the album as being built from “gnarly, seedy grooves created by us playing together in ‘garagey rooms’” and more direct and sonically varied than its predecessor.
