Kylie Minogue has hinted at working with Madonna again after the pair surprised fans with a performance in Los Angeles last week.
The pop icons joined forces on stage during the Vogue singer’s ‘Celebration Tour’ stop to perform a cover of Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive and an acapella rendition of Can’t Get You Out Of My Head by Kylie.
In an Instagram post after the show, the Aussie star admitted the moment was “a long time coming” and speaking to Variety at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party on Sunday (March 10), she opened up about the collaboration.
“It’s been a whirlwind!” she beamed. “I know her manager and he gave me a buzz and I think I have an idea what this is going to be about. And it was fabulous.”
Asked about hitting the studio with Madonna, Kylie remained coy, teasing: “Maybe, who knows… Let’s see!”
When it was suggested the pair would be able to cure world hunger together, Kylie answered: “If there was any chance we could do that I wouldn’t be here, we’d be doing it right away.”
