Alexis Strum has released a stripped-back cover of Kylie Minogue’s Padam Padam – marking her first new music in almost 20 years.
The singer-songwriter’s ties to the Aussie superstar date back to 2003, when Kylie recorded her song Still Standing for her ninth studio album, ‘Body Language’.
Now, Strum – who returned last year and finally released her two original albums, ‘Addicted’ and ‘Cocoon’ – has covered Kylie’s latest Top 10 smash for the forthcoming ‘Cafe Covers, Vol. 3’ LP.
It comes on the back of Alexis’ return to the recording studio, where she’s been working on new material with producers including The Alias.
