Samira has unleashed her debut EP, ‘Dancefloors & Drama Vol 1’.
The collection features six dance-pop tracks inspired by the singers personal heartbreak, including new single Broke Me Good, produced by Kylie Minogue and Pussycat Dolls collaborator, Cutfather.
“I’m so excited to finally unleash my debut EP alongside the final piece of the puzzle Broke Me Good – one of my favourite and most personal songs I’ve ever written,” says Samira.
“It’s been so incredible to see people reacting so strongly to the lyrical content of the song – alongside the rest of the EP, it should give people a really strong idea of who I am as an artist, what I’ve got to say, and what’s to come throughout the rest of 2024.
“I’ve had an incredible start to my music career, and it’s thrilling to see that reflected across this tracklist”.

Hailed as one of RETROPOP’s Ones To Watch in 2024, Samira opened up about the creative process behind her ‘Sad Girl Hot Pop Songs’.
“Each session is different because of whoever’s in the room,” she shared. “I love it because we all talk about our experiences, what we’re going to write about, and I do love to connect the songs with my own life. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I love that my songs are a little bit of a diary entry.”
And looking to the future, the sky’s the limit: “Working with really big producers and writers is the main focus and I think next year is going to be a really big year for me in the sense of festivals as well. Summer is going to be the one!”
