Girls Aloud are reportedly being inundated with offers to film their 21st anniversary reunion tour.
The Call The Shots group – starring Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh – will hit the road next May and June to celebrate the milestone and pay tribute to their late bandmate, Sarah Harding.
According to reports, the band is considering whether to film ‘The Girls Aloud Show’ for a new project, that could include a series, documentary, concert movie, or something new altogether.
An insider told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Since the news of Girls Aloud’s reunion their management have been bombarded with offers for all sorts of things, particularly loads of TV and streaming specials.
“Girls Aloud regularly filmed and released their tours on DVD back in the day.
“But things have moved on, so they have been interested to hear what other options are on the table.”
Having already sold 200,000 tickets for their hotly-anticipated comeback, a “bidding war” is said to be underway for the rights to film their return to the stage.
“The demand for tickets has been so phenomenal that it has sparked a bidding war between companies who are keen to land the rights to their show,” the insider added.
“They are very careful about what they do, though, because they don’t want to exploit their legacy or do anything that cheapens their brand.
“It is important that they are all in complete agreement when it comes to accepting any offers on the table.”
Tickets are on sale now and are available here.
