Original Sugababes star Siobhan Donaghy is celebrating the 20th anniversary edition of her debut album, ‘Revolution In Me’, with an expanded reissue.
Released in 2003, two years after her departure from the group, the new edition of the LP features the original tracklist, including the singles Overrated and Twist Of Fate.
Presented as a double-disc set, the album now includes a bumper 16 bonus tracks including B-sides, alternate takes, rarities and unreleased tracks. It’s also the first time on vinyl for the classic record.
“This album was made when I was 19 years old, during a time of high emotion in my life. With a fire in my belly and a chip on my shoulder, I set about trying to make sense of my place in the world,” says the singer, who will release a new album with Sugababes next year.
“Written with my long time collaborator and mentor Cameron McVey who continues to this day to teach me so much. I’m grateful I got to have creative licence to make a deeply weird record and that it gets a new lease of life on vinyl for the first time.”
‘Revolution In Me’ is out December 8 and available to pre-order now.
