Texas have announced a pair of additional intimate shows to celebrate the release of their new LP, ‘The Very Best Of 1989 – 2023’.
Sharleen Spiteri and co will play two extra matinee shows in Glasgow and Edinburgh in July as part of the run of live dates, celebrating their brand new retrospective release.
Coinciding with the LP, the group will visit intimate venues across the UK, starting July 10 at Coventry’s HMV Empire before heading to Kingston, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Leeds.
Each show will be followed by a Q&A session with the singer to delve into the stories behind the album.

In addition to the classics, ‘The Very Best Of 1989 – 2023‘ features two new recordings from the group, including the single, After All.
On their career to date – which has to-date delivered 10 hit albums and seen the group pick up the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection – Sharleen says: “No’ bad for a hairdresser fae Glasgow.
“But I gotta be honest: I still feel like I’m really close to the beginning. And the energy and the vibe between us all – as a band I don’t think we’ve ever been happier, and I don’t think we’ve ever been tighter.
“I don’t think we’ve ever been more definite about who we are.”
Following the album release, Texas will play the Pyramid Stage at this year’s Glastonbury Festival on June 23.
