Samantha Mumba is back with her new single The Lie.
Marking her first release in three years, the track arrives ahead of the Irish star’s performance at Mighty Hoopla in London on June 3.
It’s the third track to be released independently on her Mumba Music label, following 2020 singles Process and COOL.

It’s been over 20 years since Samantha released her hit debut album, 2000’s ‘Gotta Tell You’, and she previously teased plans for a follow-up to the record that delivered hit singles like Body II Body, Always Come Back to Your Love, Baby, Come Over (This Is Our Night) and the title song.
While little is known about the overall direction of the star’s new record, she had previously been working in the studio with the likes of Wanya Morris and MNEK on material.
