Kylie Minogue is reportedly planning to take up residency in Sin City for a run of Las Vegas shows.
The Aussie superstar is said to be in talks for a £100 million concert series spanning 12-weeks, having visited potential Sin City venues in May.
According to The Sun, Planet Hollywood and Caesar’s Palace have made offers, with the singer’s record label BMG liaising about potential spin-off deals.
“While Kylie may not have a huge profile Stateside, she is an absolutely massive draw for the Brits,” said an insider.
“She has a cult gay following especially, and it’s felt she will easily draw in the pink pound.
“Kylie visited a few venues in the summer, and numerous meetings have since been held.
“It’s a no brainer for Kylie – easy money, and no touring. Everyone involved is hugely excited about the prospect.”
Having released her latest, record-breaking LP ‘DISCO’ back in 2020, Kylie has been hard at work on its follow-up and recently revealed she’s “ready for new music”.
“I’ve been making albums now for over 30 years but each one is a different journey,” she said.
“I can’t reveal what the sound is yet but it is all super exciting. It’s always a challenge to find that next sound.”
She added: “My last album was mostly made during lockdown. To be back in the studio with some of my favourite people is simply a joy.”
The Spinning Around singer has been working on the project for some time and, according to BMG president Alistair Norbury, will launch in the first half of 2023.
He said: “Next year we’ll start [the campaign for] our third album with Kylie, and we only expected to do one.
“So the roster is building to a size where it is almost self-sustaining,” he added, confirming the label has planned its “Q1 and Q2” releases for 2023, hinting at a potential launch date.
The pop superstar is expected to debut tracks from the LP during her performance at Sydney WorldPride in February 2023.
