The single typifies the group’s sound, with singer Tracey Bryn saying: “After living in London for years, I went home and took a drive down Melrose Boulevard in Hollywood. There was a hamburger joint shaped like a huge hamburger and everything was so colourful and shiny and fake-looking. I felt like I was in a comic book.

“It made me realise Hollywood was just a lot of smoke and mirrors but also such a living dream for so many people.”

She adds: “I feel Cartoon City is one of my best songs and it never got the chance it deserved.”

During their initial run, Voice of The Beehive racked up five Top 40 hits from two albums in the UK, including the Top 20 singles Don’t Call Me Baby and Monsters and Angels.

‘Let It Bee’ is out November 25 and available to pre-order now.
