Dubstar have released the single mix of their track I Can See You Outside.
The slick synth-pop number is lifted from the duo’s forthcoming fifth studio album ‘Two’, out May 6.
I Can See You Outside was originally issued as the second track from the project in November 2020, following lead single Hygiene Strip, but never received the full video treatment.
It comes as Dubstar prepare to unveil their first album in four years, which sees Sarah Blackwood and Chris Wilkie reunite with original producer Stephen Hague.
“It became obvious that the hiatus was some kind of malady which we’d got over,” says Chris of the group’s renaissance. “We remembered that we just get on well.”
“Sarah and I always had a bit of a sense of unfinished business. There are things about the ‘90s which I’m very proud of and things I’d have liked to have done differently.
“Now we’ve got the opportunity to do it exactly how we felt it could have been.”
‘Two’ is available to pre-order on CD and vinyl (including limited editions).
