a-ha will release their orchestral album ‘True North’ in 2022.
The group recorded the LP earlier this month with The Arctic Philharmonic, with a view to release the project as a film and accompanying album.
They announced on social media: “a-ha recorded their new album ‘True North’ in Bodø, Norway earlier this month.

“’True North’ is a filmed live-performance together with The Arctic Philharmonic for future streaming release.
“As we await the release of the film and album in autumn 2022, we have some great behind the scenes photos to share with you over the coming months – and here is the first set!”
Snaps show the group rehearsing tracks in an empty auditorium before being joined by the orchestra for the recording session.
A firm release date for the ‘True North’ project has yet to be confirmed.
