Six of Mariah Carey’s best-loved concert movies have been reissued on digital platforms.
Released on December 7, the films – ‘The First Vision’, ‘MTV Unplugged’, ‘Here Is Mariah Carey’, ‘Fantasy – Mariah At MSG’, ‘Live At Tokyo Dome’ and ‘Around The World’ – span Mariah’s first six studio albums.
Originally released in ‘91, ‘The First Vision’ contains behind-the-scenes footage, an interview and music from Mariah’s very first live performance – which was issued as a digital EP last year.
Next up is the diva’s iconic MTV set, which was released as a hit EP in ‘92 and features the chart-topping single I’ll Be There, while ‘Here Is Mariah Carey’ includes home footage and the first live performance of Hero.
Other major releases are ‘Fantasy – Mariah At MSG’ and ‘Live At Tokyo Dome’ – both from the ‘Daydream’ era – while ‘Around The World’ follows Mariah on her ‘Butterfly’ World Tour.
Mariah recently returned with her 2021 holiday single Fall in Love at Christmas, featuring Khalid and Kirk Franklin, which she’ll perform exclusively on her forthcoming Apple TV+ special, ‘Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues‘.
