Britney Spears has hit out at a new CNN documentary about her conservatorship.
‘Toxic: Britney Spears’ Battle For Freedom’ debuted on the network on Sunday but, according to the Radar singer, the programme is full of inaccuracies.
“It’s really crazy guys… I hate to inform you but a lot of what you heard is not true,” she penned on Instagram, after watching “a little bit” of the show.
“I really try to disassociate myself from the drama! Number one… that’s the past!!! Number two… can the dialogue get any classier.”
She added: “Number three… wow they used the most beautiful footage of me in the world!!! What can I say… the EFFORT on their part.”
It’s not the only new documentary on the singer’s conservatorship to debut in the past week; a new New York Times feature, ‘Controlling Britney Spears’, was also released, as a follow-up to the hugely successful ‘Framing Britney Spears’.
In the new edition, it is claimed security experts have been bugging the Piece of Me star’s bedroom and wiretapping intimate and private calls with the star’s sons and even her lawyer.
Now, Britney’s lawyer Mathew Rosengart has demanded LA lawmakers investigate the claims his client was the subject of intense surveillance.
Meanwhile, another Netflix documentary about Britney’s conservatorship, ‘Britney Vs. Spears’, will debut on Tuesday – on the eve of the singer’s latest conservatorship hearing.
Rosengart has called for the conservatorship to be terminated without any further medical evaluation, insisting she clearly has the “capacity and capability” to “identify, engage, and instruct counsel of her own choice”.
The Toxic singer has been fighting to remove her father Jamie from his controlling role as conservator while seeking an end to the overall conservatorship.
