Jade Ewen has been cast as Mariah Carey for the final season of Netflix’s ‘Luis Miguel: The Series’.
The show, based on the life and career of singer Luis Miguel, is entering its final run, and a trailer released earlier this month saw the star, portrayed by Diego Boneta, speaking to an unseen Mariah on the phone.
Ewen shared the teaser on her Instagram page with the caption, “Get ready, here she comes,” and it’s since been confirmed she’ll appear as the diva in the series.
Mariah and Miguel dated from 1999 to 2001.
After representing the UK at Eurovision in 2009, Jade replaced Keisha Buchanan in Sugababes and scored the Top 10 hits About a Girl and Wear My Kiss with the girl band.
Series three of ‘Luis Miguel: The Series’ debuts on Netflix on October 28.
