James Blunt will host a new TV series all about home brewing.
The Love Under Pressure singer, who famously saved his local Chelsea boozer The Fox & Pheasant from closure in 2017, will host the Amazon Prime Video series.
He tells The Sun: “I think Dermot O’Leary has something to worry about and this is keeping him up at night.
“More likely is they will see it and end up giving Dermot my job on it and he’ll end up hosting it. That is what will happen.
“But this is my dream job. It’s a beer brewing competition and I am the host of the show.
“Luckily I am not judging it as I have terrible taste in music and beer. There are qualified judges and celebrity judges who know their stuff.
“In the final there are five different brewing teams who all make phenomenally good home brews. It’s going to be great.”
James’ TV venture comes as he prepares to release his first-ever greatest hits album ‘The Stars Beneath My Feet (2004-2021)’, featuring his best-loved singles from debut release ‘Back to Bedlam’ through to 2019’s ‘Once Upon a Mind’.
Also included are four new tracks (Love Under Pressure, Unstoppable, Adrenaline and I Came For Love), as well as four exclusive live performances.
In addition to the 30-track LP, James is also hitting the road in 2022 for his UK Greatest Hits Tour, which runs through February. Tickets are on sale now.
‘The Stars Beneath My Feet (2004-2021)’ is out November 19 and available to pre-order now.
