Shakira’s ‘Dónde Están Los Ladrones?’ and ‘MTV Unplugged’ albums are set to be issued on vinyl for the first time.
Courtesy of Vinyl Me, Please, the singer’s fourth Spanish language LP, featuring the Billboard Hot Latin No. 1 hit Ciega, Sordomuda, will be released as a red and pink galaxy 2LP set.
The album, executive produced by Emilio Estefan, was created after the suitcase containing the lyrics to Shakira’s songs was stolen while she was travelling, prompting her to write the title track – which translates to “Where are the thieves?”.
Thank @shakira it’s #StoreDrop Wednesday because we don’t think we could keep our mouths shut much longer. 💃🙏

Sonically, the album explores Latin pop, rock and Middle Eastern genres, along with inspirations from the singer-songwriter’s own Colombian and Lebanese background.
Meanwhile, Shakira recorded ‘MTV Unplugged’, her first live album, in 1999 at the Grand Ballroom at New York’s Manhattan Center.
Released in 2000, it became the first Unplugged performance to be recorded entirely in Spanish and ultimately earned her a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album.
The 2LP set will be issued on magenta spinner vinyl.
Shakira’s latest reissue follows a series of vinyl editions of her first three English language albums – ‘Laundry Service’, ‘Oral Fixation Vol. 2’ and ‘She Wolf’ – via Urban Outfitters.
And the superstar recently returned with Don’t Wait Up, co-written with Ian Kirkpatrick and Emily Warren, which serves as the lead track from her forthcoming fifth English language record.
