Erasure have added a third Glasgow date to their forthcoming ‘The Neon’ Tour.
The synth-pop duo will return to the stage in October for the opening UK leg of the trek in support of their hit 18th album, released last year.
Kicking off on October 1 in the Scottish city, the Always stars already had two shows booked and have squeezed in a third date on October 4.
We are excited to announce that Erasure will be playing an extra show at Glasgow's SEC Armadillo on October 4th. Tickets will go on sale at 10am (UK) on Friday (August 13th).

“We are excited to announce that Erasure will be playing an extra show at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo on October 4th,” they tweeted.
“Tickets will go on sale at 10am (UK) on Friday (August 13th).”
The new gig takes their total to five shows in Scotland, including two dates at The Usher Hall in Edinburgh.
News of the show comes after Andy Bell and Vince Clarke announced the postponement of their Ireland and Europe tour dates due to Covid restrictions.
“As a result of the ongoing Covid-19 situation we have made the difficult decision to move our forthcoming shows In Ireland, Denmark and Germany to May 2022 and the new schedule looks like this,” they explained.
“If you have already booked tickets then your tickets will be valid for the new date.”
In our review of ‘The Neon’, Retro Pop called the album “a masterclass in synth-pop” and “a triumphant effort that ranks high in Erasure’s 35-year legacy”.
