The B-52’s have released a new remix of their classic hit Love Shack, setting the iconic tune to Britney Spears’ 2004 single Toxic.
Originally released in 1989, the song found new popularity on TikTok thanks to an unofficial mashup with Britney’s tune.
After millions of users shared dance videos to the single, the group teamed up with DJ Cummerbund for an official release of the ‘Tik Toxic Remix’.
“Love Shack,” they tweeted. “@dj_cummerbund’s Tik Toxic Remix of our song Love Shack is OUT NOW!
“After millions of people used the mash up in their dance videos we couldn’t wait to get this out officially.”
The single is available across digital platforms.
