Alphabeat have released their first ever Danish language single.
Danmarks Dynamite is out now on digital platforms and will serve as Denmark’s official anthem throughout the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, which kicks off mid-June.
Despite releasing four studio albums to date, the group, which originates in Denmark, have recorded all of their previous songs in English.
“Here it is: DENMARK’S DYNAMITE,” tweeted the group. “Huge shots out to Kasper Schmeichel, Yussuf Poulsen and Pierre Emile-Højbjerg, who sing for !
“And to the entire men’s national team, which delivers football choirs as if they were the red-and-white calm on the stands in Parken Red heart.”
In addition to the band, the single also features vocals from select players from Denmark’s national football team.
Alphabeat released their most recent LP ‘I Don’t Know What’s Cool Anymore’ back in 2019.
