Martin Kemp gave Prime Minister Boris Johnson a run for his money as he offered some sound advice to fans who were left confused by the latest lockdown guidelines.
During a national address on Sunday night, Boris delivered a speech which had been billed as explaining the ways the government is planning to ease the country out of the state.
However, his words left many confused, after changing the message from ‘Stay Home’ to ‘Stay Alert’ – and the Spandau Ballet star was among those who took to social media to share his thoughts on the issue.
“Morning….. Don’t know about you but I’m confused with the new lockdown Rules….” the Gold hitmaker tweeted.

He added: “Personally I’d like to see anyone going into shops wearing masks and gloves to help protect the guys working in them!!!”

In one last tongue-in-cheek push of his message, Martin quoted comedian Micky Flanagan, writing: “You can go out.. but don’t go Out OUT!!”
