Boy George has been temporarily replaced as a coach on The Voice Australia during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Karma Chameleon star and fellow coach Kelly Rowland, who both live outside of Australia, will be temporarily replaced by local stars due to travel restrictions.
The pair, who have appeared on the show since 2017, will be replaced as judges temporarily by Jessica Mauboy and Conrad Sewell, according to NW magazine.
A source told the publication: “(They) will move into a mentor role from the U.S. and U.K. on Zoom.”
Singers Delta Goodrem and Guy Sebastian will both return as coaches, while the show will welcome two new hosts – Darren McMullen and Renee Bargh.
During lockdown, the Culture Club frontman has been working on a new movie biopic, as well as releasing the solo single, Isolation.
