Coleen Nolan will provide lead vocals on The Nolans’ reunion performance of their classic hit I’m In The Mood For Dancing.
The Loose Women regular stepped in to sing the lead as their late sister Bernie, who died in 2013, was known for singing their hit song.
Speaking to the Daily Express, explained her nerves about taking over vocals on the iconic track, sharing: “I don’t even remember singing I’m In The Mood For Dancing.
“I just remember thinking I need to get this over with so I can take my shoes off.”
While speaking about how Coleen was nominated as the one to sing the vocals of their 1980 track, sister Maureen admitted: “Coleen took over the lead whether she wanted to or not!”
Here’s a clip of Coleen singing I’m In The Mood For Dancing solo on Loose Women back in 2006.
Coleen, Maureen, and sisters Linda and Anne will perform the track on the final episode of their forthcoming TV show The Nolans Go Cruising.
The eight-part series follows the sisters as they embark on the girls holiday of a lifetime, travelling through the Med in their first shared trip and singing reunion in many years.
Throughout the show they will enjoy two voyages on-board luxury cruise ship, the MSC Grandiosa, and prepare to perform their classic hit on their final night.
The show premieres on July 7th at 10pm UK time on Quest Red.
